My Girls R Sick

The weather’s getting real crazy these days. One day it’s blazing hot. The next day it would be a thunderstorm. Who wouldn’t fall sick with such drastic temperature change?

My gals are 2 of the victims. Chloe had high fever last Thursday. We initially thought that she was just heaty but her fever went up to 39.9 C approaching midnight. Though a lil worried, I did not send her to my ER, just gave her paracetamol & sponged her. Her fever did not go away even after taking the medicine. It’s still between 38.5 - 39.6 C’s range. The fever finally went away Saturday night. Just in time for her Sunday School, which she looks forward every week. On Monday, Chloe started to cough and have runny nose as well.

Phoebe’s getting the fever bug too. I think she’s teething as she can’t sleep well at night and kept complaining that her teeth’s pain. She started to cough too just now. Must have got the bug from her jie-jie.

As off now, I have 2 extremely cranky sick girls by my side. Sure hope they’ll recover fast. It’s ain’t fun when I gotta wake sure umpteenth time during the night to pacify 2 crying girls who doesn’t want daddy to go near them. Well, though that’s part and parcel of a mom’s life, I do wish to get my beauty sleep back.

Mini Blinds VS Blinds

I had always wanted to change the curtains in my house to blinds or perhaps shades, as they would have better protection against the sun’s ray into the house. We can never be too careful in preventing our children from getting all the harmful rays from the sun due to the thinning of the ozone layer.

KW had already given his permission to change the curtains provided it is cheap and durable and serves it purpose in preventing the rays from coming into the house. I’ve heard some friends telling me about mini blinds but can someone tell me what the difference between mini blinds and blinds is?

Anyway, I’m still searching for cheap mini blinds and discount window blinds to replace the curtains. Anyone know where can I get the blinds?

It has been ages since I logged into Bloggerwave again. I’ve totally forgotten that I’ve signed up with them once this humble blog of mine turned 90 days.

Out of curiosity and desperateness because of the demotion of my blog’s page rank, I logged into Bloggerwave again. Well, well, what do you know, there’s actually few offers there for me, as if it’s welcoming me back.

WAHM Is Tiring...

Being a WAHM is no joke, at least to me… The need and obligation to attend to the demands of 2 girls in the day already zaps out most of my energy during the day, and I still need to attend to another baby of mine with whatever energy that left in me after midnight.

I knew it would be very trying to become a WAHM but this is a bit too much. I underestimated the amount of work and time that I need to fork out for my new e-shoppe.

Thank God, that KW’s having a 6-month long leave and he can help out with the girls at home now. If not, I have gone bonkers already. Apart from helping with the girls on and off, and of course the house chores, he’s still pretty much a free man.

I’m still very much a mummy during daytime. Need some time for the girls to adapt to my new role as a WAHM. We are still explaining to them that when mummy locks herself up in the room, it means that mummy needs to work. Chloe is okay with it as we told her that daddy’s not working now and if mummy doesn’t work, then she won’t get to buy her favourite Yakult, Soy Milk, and eats sushi. Phoebe is still too young to understand it though.

I’m still trying my best to adapt to my new role. Hopefully the girls too…

My New Venture

Beloved friends and readers, I'd just step out of my comfort zone and venture into an e-shoppe. Please kindly visit my humble e-shoppe and feel free to leave me some comments here on how could I make the e-shoppe better. Thank you very much...

Cleanteam® products by Huggies®

We have been using Huggies range of diapers ever since Chloe was borned 3 years ago, out of desperation. Not because Huggies Dry Comfort is not good, it is because our lil Chloe have such a big thigh for a baby that most diapers will leave a red mark on her thigh. When we finally found Huggies Dry Comfort that comes with high cut, we knew that’s the diaper that we are searching for. We are hooked ever since.

Just found out that Huggies came out with a new line of cleaning products such as Flushable Moist Wipes, Cleansing Cloth, Detangler and others. Chloe was looking at Henry Hippo the Hand Wash amused as the light blinking as you washes your hand. She told me to get it for her when we go shopping later. How I wish I could get the full range of the Cleanteam® products by Huggies® for her now after her boo-boo.

Click on the clip below to satisfy your curiosity on how lovely and cute the products look like. :)

Cranky + Throwing Tantrum = Broken Lips

As usual, she is throwing tantrums whenever things don’t go her way... Unfortunately, she slipped and banged her mouth on the floor this time. Blood started oozing out non-stop and sent Mummy into panic mood.

Thank God, the front teeth are spared from this nasty bang, only her lower lip is badly punctured. The inner lip is still bleeding up to now.

After I cleaned her wound last night

This Morning

P/S: Mummies who's reading this, do you know what can I apply on her wound to make it heal faster? I'm really clueless now...Thanks

Salute To All WAHM

When I decided to become a SAHM after Chloe’s arrival, I was telling, well more to convincing myself, how difficult would it be taking care of a lil baby. I bought lots of cooking and crafts magazines naively thinking that I would have lots and lots of spare time for my passion in cooking & craft.

Well, I found out the truth the hard way. No one told me that having a baby would turn my world upside down. Well, it was slightly better with Chloe as she’s a very ‘good’ baby, but it was another story with Phoebe. Gosh, my world really tuned havoc with her. She’s breastfed exclusively, fussy, demanding and cranky and sticky. Which baby doesn’t, right?

Well, I’m returning to the working world soon but I’m opt to work from home this time. It’s never easy as I’m already facing some difficulties now. It’s never easy juggling between the girl’s never-ending demands and work. I can never concentrate on my work with the girls around. To make thing s worse, I’m maidless, meaning that I still need to attend to the never-ending chores and cooking.

I sure hope things would be better next month as the shop’s finally closing for refurbishing and KW’s gonna be at home for the next 6 months before deciding whether he wants to continue working for FIL or start his own business or perhaps helping me out with mine. Therefore, in the mean time, I’m still struggling to come out with a better working timetable.

To all WAHM out there, I really salute you. Care to share how you juggle between work & family? :)
